BYOB and POTLUCK Paint Event

***PLEASE READ***

If you are not already familiar with the way it works here at YaA, you know that the goal is for everyone to leave with an individual stylized painting not only of subject matter but of the look and feel of your work.  There will be a demonstration on techniques and where to start and discussion before we enter the studio.

Instructor will make her rounds to assist. 

This is a very small (one person owned)  business venue and the unique home/studio space provides a special  atmosphere when compared to the larger commercialized spaces to explore your creativity. This is why a count ahead of time (at least week before) is of the utmost importance especially for gathering materials and preparation.

IMPORTANT:   PAY AT THE DOOR is no longer an option.  If you are paying CASH or CHECK, you may send in an envelope, via mail or drop in mail box with full name, address, cell number clearly written on envelope or inside and please give a heads up via text to

732-688-6694. You must contact me personally to give me your name and contact number if paying at the door is your only option.

SUGGEST A THEME OR LET ME CHOOSE

Although there will be a variety of images to chose from you may also come prepared with your choice of reference. 

Allow this time to listen to your intuitive self. Use this time to be playful and explore the act of creating. Do not over-think or evaluate anything about your painting or your thought processes. Do not use labels of good or bad. Try singing along to the music playing while you move your paint along your canvas. Use your reference for guidance but allow your individual ideas in. Let your imagination flow with a brush in hand and contrasting cool colors along your canvas.

PRIVATE ONLY EVENT?

If your goal is to reserve the space for a private event there is a one time reservation price of $350.00 for renting of dining area, kitchen, coffee pot with coffee or tea station and studio space with supplies, instructor and assistant for a 2 1/2 hour event. MAXIMUM of 12 attendees. But remember please if you are renting private or coming to an open to the public event,

• You are responsible for setting up your potluck and cleaning up after your own dishes. 

• Please do not over indulge on your drinking if you do not have a designated driver planned ahead. 

Parking is available along the street and at the bank parking lot across the way.
